Brad Ellis spent four years serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. After that he spent several years protecting the fine citizens of his community as a Police Officer, but soon realized the free coffee at the local gas station does not justify low pay, dodging bullets and long hours. The roughest transition from cop to stand up comedy was having to return his mustache. Much to his surprise, they let him keep the haircut.
Since leaving the badge behind, Brad has made a name for himself in Kansas City where he regularly works and from those feature and headlining sets has produced him work throughout the United States. He used his distinctive observational style and true to life experiences into work at corporate events and colleges University of Kansas, Kansas State University, University of Arkansas and worked with numerous national touring acts. Brad was also selected to compete in Season 2 of Comcast TV's Trial by Laughter. Unlike his mustache, his act is not one to miss!

Quotes...
Brad Ellis is one of the funniest, hardest working comics I have had the
pleasure to work with. Keep an eye out for his name because he will make it, no doubt!" -Walter Coffman - Kansas City Improv
Brad Ellis, a Kansas City, Mo., comedian opened for Ouyang, making jokes about familiar areas K-State Students could relate to. "I thought the show was great,' said Marisol Gonzalez, sophomore in history. "I laughed so much. I was pretty much laughing the entire time. The opening guy was great because he was from KC. It made it a lot more local with him being from there and performing here." Ellis joked about real life experiences, including some from when he was an active Marine, and, later, a Police Officer. He also talked about everyday life, including playing the game "Call of Duty." "Anyone play 'Call of Duty?' Ellis asked the audience. "Where my nerds at? There are only 15 of you here tonight who play because the rest of them are at home still playing 'Call of Duty.' They ask their friends, 'Oh hey. Wanna go to a comedy show?' Nope. I wanna stay home and be cussed out by eight-year-olds." -K-State Newspaper, The Collegian
